    • This is the Part 1 Cognitive only portion of the AHA BLS certification. To complete the BLS Certificate and receive the BLS Card you need to go to complete HeartCode BLS Part 2 or visit an AHA Certified Skills Instructor to get the Skills Test Check Off.

    • This is the Part 2 Skills portion of the AHA BLS certification. To complete the BLS Certificate and receive the BLS Card you need to complete HeartCode BLS Part 1.
    • Important: To use this new version of BLS Skills you must also update to the latest License Server v3.2.0 or higher: License Server

Part 1 Server

(Serving the web content for Part 1)

Software requirements

Windows 2000 SP4+, XP Pro, Windows 2003 or Vista
IIS* 5.0+ or Apache 2.0+
(If IIS is not installed then Apache 2.0 will be installed automatically)
Microsoft.net FrameWork 1.1 or higher
(included with HeartCode BLS)
Important: Non-server versions of Win2000, WinXP and WinVista running IIS have a limit on 5 concurrent users.
* IIS is only supported on Home Premium and above

Minimum Hardware requirements

Pentium 3 or equivalent
256 MB RAM
150MB free HD space

Client

(PCs accessing the Part 1 server)

Software requirements

Windows 2000, XP, Vista
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
Macromedia Flash v. 8.0 or higher

Monitor capable of displaying a resolution of 1024x768 or higher
